I had a great time at MWLUG this year. It was great to see so many familiar faces and friends, most of which I only see at the user groups. But, I just got home and thought I would share some of my thoughts and observations about the event and my take away about the state of our beloved Notes. As usual Richard Moy put together a great conference, so many thanks to him for making that event possible.

Have you ever wondered why the coffeemaker in your kitchen doesn’t have a subwoofer attached to it? Us too! And if you’re going to put a sub on there, you might as well include a Mac mini, right? And when you really think about it, isn’t the only case worthy of holding all that stuff an iMac DV? It just makes sense.
I just thought this was a cool idea,
Ok, so this is my first attempt at creating a background image for my PC. Normally I just browse around deviantArt until I find something that strikes my fancy. The stipled background is from an icon package I downloaded at some point in time called Black Gloss DA. As for the apple logo, I took a black image with a white apple logo in it and then just modified the apple icon part of that image.
This past weekend the family and I went and saw the King Tut exhibit at the Atlanta Civic Center. It was a very interesting exibit. I was disappointed that his Sarcophagus wasn’t there, but other than that it was good. There were a lot of displays from his tomb, statues from various places in Egypt along with displays of items from some of the other Pharaohs such as Ramses I and Ramses II,
I saw this picture today just browsing around and thought it was pretty cool.
Tonight we attended the Kenny Chesney concert at the HiFi Buys Amphitheater. It was an awesome concert, Sugarland and Pat Green opened up. Sugarland put on an awesome show and Jennifer Nettles voice still just blows me away.
Kenny put on a great show and it just shows why he’s won entertainer of the year so many times. He had quite a few guest appearances from Dave Matthews (Bruce Elgort would have approved ),
Wow, this is pretty cool. How many people would believe you if you told them that you went fishing and the fish were just jumping in the boat?
But it does take a lot of talent to shoot a fish that has jumped out of the water with a bow and arrow
